The author of this dissertation (the "Author") provides http://scalar.maryborgoton.com/shininglights and its subdomains (the "Websites") in support of the Author's mission to preserve, enhance, and interpret pre-cinema technologies and supporting textual ephemera and to promote continued discussions of the global nature of early screen culture.
